Sitting on my server last night. I got this server message.
The image says it all. I have seen more work to fight gold sellers and spammers from this company than I have ever seen from another. It is unlike me to post something short and quick like this, but seriously they need credit for this. Now I am not sure if it was 500 accounts total or 500 from our server, but either way it is pretty cool.
All the work they have put into the chat spam filter, and mail spam filters are much appreciated. Keep up the great work guys.
Yeah I’ve tried to locate the source of the problem several times. Part of it is that this skin is a hacked up version of a wow skin that I have used since starting the blog. I need to sit down and code one from scratch that I actually understand better 🙂
Basically if I create a post with a centered image as the first line this happens. However if I put a line of text, or if I leave it left justified everything is peachy. It’s a bug I know about, but keep forgetting the “rules”.
Anyways thanks for the warning 🙂 I was told over steam this morning, and managed to get it fixed.
Whoops, the image is sliding to far beneath your round Belghast avatar on Firefox 4.0.1. It’s centered correctly in IE6, IE7, IE8, IE9, Google Chrome 11, Opera 11 and Safari 5 (I have all these installed since I fiddle with web designing myself). I guess Firefox misunderstood something?
On topic, I’ve been on board since the game was released in EU, and I’ve seen two spam chat tells and zero spam mails in that time. But I think my EU shard (Quicksilver) is a relatively low populated one.
